Unidirectional thrust ball bearings can only withstand axial forces in one direction. The 511, 512, 513 and 514 series of unidirectional thrust ball bearings are designed with flat seat and can be used without misalignment or shaft deflection. The 532, 533 and 534 series of unidirectional thrust ball bearings are designed with aligning seat and are used with aligning seat washers to compensate for misalignment and shaft deflection.
